Although we like to make everything ourselves at Rootmaster, we do have some great suppliers which we are proud to be working with.

All of our lovely vegetables are sourced from a wonderful LEAF Marque assured supplier. LEAF stands for Linking Environment And Farming. It gives a greater assurance that the food we buy has been produced in an environmentally responsible way. LEAF Marque farms are embracing whole farm, traditional farming practices alongside the very best of modern technology to produce food grown with care for the environment.

Along with this, we are also given a full list of the road miles each of our veggies has
travelled so we can carefully monitor our food miles and keep them small!

All of our wonderful tofu is made by the lovely people at Clean Bean. As they are based on Brick Lane, our deliveries arrive by means of a push bike followed by a small trailer and are always accompanied with big smiles and waves from the lovely Neil. All of Clean Bean's tofu is certified organic by the Soil Association and is a small scale craft production. They have been making their fresh, never pasteurised tofu for 10years now and should you wish to sample it for yourselves, they can be found at Borough Market every saturday from 9am to 4pm.
